EVERYTHING NEEDS ITS OWN SPACE, SO DO OUR EMOTIONS
Emotion Space is a working group of KISD students who want to help other students with mental health issues or with any kind of discrimination.
In such an open-minded and experimental space like KISD, our mental state should be seen as essential enough to be a question of design. In the capitalistic world, the necessity of social design is increasing, and therefore we want to create a new safe space where we honestly talk about mental health. We want to search for new imaginative ways to implement our emotions into the design process instead of shaming or rejecting them. To use our full potential includes talking about how we feel and what keeps us away from using it. We shouldn’t forget that all of us have different backgrounds and therefore share or not share different privileges. That is why it is important to constantly examine these differences and talk about them at KISD.
If you feel ready to be part of the change that we all wish and need, feel free to choose the course, see more on our space.
