Speeddating Master-Initiated Project (MIP)

The Self-Initiated Project for Master students is an experimental research project with regard to their Proposals and Final Thesis. Within the scope of their cluster and project ideas, students will conduct design research as a team of two to six students (MA and optionally BA students).

Cooperation with other researchers, institutions, organizations, initiatives, companies, or other groups are encouraged. The MIP is supervised by a KISD professor, ideally one of your Thesis supervisors.

SPEED DATING: April 10, 4 pm

Everyone who wants to do a Self-Initiated Project (SIP/MIP) this semester will be meeting on April 10 at 4 pm in Room 12 and present their project idea on a table.

If you still need colleagues for a specific topic, you can find them here. If you are looking for an interesting SIP, you can see which topics are already planned. But even if your topic is already fixed and your group is already complete: on this day you introduce your MIP, so that we can see which topics will be worked on this semester.

Further, you will be asked to make a short description of your planned MIP – or of a great idea – and upload it to the Space. Please check the Space regularly!

Das selbstinitiierte Projekt für Master-Studierende ist ein experimentelles Forschungsprojekt im Hinblick auf ihre Proposal- und Abschlussarbeiten. Im Rahmen ihrer Cluster- und Projektideen forschen die Studierenden im Team von zwei bis sechs Studierenden (MA- und optional BA-Studierende) gestalterisch.

Kooperationen mit anderen Forschenden, Institutionen, Organisationen, Initiativen, Unternehmen oder anderen Gruppierungen sind erwünscht. Betreut wird das MIP von einem KISD-Professor, idealerweise einem Ihrer Betreuer der Abschlussarbeit.

SPEED-DATING: 10. April, 16:00 Uhr

Alle, die dieses Semester ein Self-Initiated Project (SIP oder MIP) machen wollen, treffen sich am 10.04. um 16:00 Uhr in Raum 12 und präsentieren ihre Projektidee. Dort können Sie außerdem andere Kommiliton*innen für Ihr Thema anwerben oder sehen, welche Themen bereits von anderen geplant sind. Aber auch wenn Ihr Thema schon feststeht und die Gruppe bereits komplett ist: Jede*r muss an diesem Tag ihr/sein Projekt präsentieren, damit wir einen Überblick haben.

Sie werden außerdem gebeten, Ihr geplantes MIP – oder einfach nur eine tolle Idee – kurz zu beschreiben und auf den aktuellen Space hochzuladen. Bitte schauen Sie daher regelmäßig in den Space!
