This course starts with your official Welcome Day on Monday, October 05, and ends on Friday, October 16, before your projects and seminars begin. In the first week we will welcome you at KISD and you will learn about your module sheets, examinations and other organizational matters. Further, you will discover the thematic clusters: Each day the professors of each cluster will introduce different design approaches in a workshop format.

Changes in the order of the days are possible. Participation in all cluster days is mandatory.
During the second week, you’ll get to know the workshops at KISD and have your first opportunities to work in the labs. You will receive a more detailed plan about the Design Exploration at the beginning of the semester.

Dieser Kurs beginnt mit Ihrem offiziellen Willkommenstag am Montag, den 05. Oktober, und endet am Freitag, den 16. Oktober, bevor Ihre Projekte und Seminare beginnen. In der ersten Woche werden Sie an der KISD begrüßt und erfahren näheres über Ihre Modulscheine, Prüfungen und andere organisatorische Aspekte. Zudem entdecken Sie die thematischen Cluster: Täglich stellen die Professorinnen und Professoren der einzelnen Cluster in einem Workshop-Format unterschiedliche Designansätze vor.

Eventuelle Änderungen in der Reihenfolge sind möglich. Die Teilnahme an allen Cluster-Tagen ist verpflichtend.
In der zweiten Woche lernen Sie die Werkstätten an der KISD kennen und haben erste Möglichkeiten, in den Labs zu arbeiten. Einen genaueren Plan zu den Design Explorations erhalten Sie zu Beginn des Semesters.
