In this project, we use AI tools as a creative source of inspiration, but not as the sole composer. Students generate melodies, beats or harmonies with AI, develop them further, arrange, alienate and supplement them with their own ideas and classical production techniques.

How can AI-generated elements be incorporated in a meaningful way without losing control? Where does the machine end and your own handwriting begin?

The project is open to all styles of music. Previous technical knowledge is helpful, but not absolutely necessary – the decisive factor is a willingness to actively work with sounds and try out new tools.

In the end, you will create your own tracks that show how AI is changing music production and where its creative limits lie.

In diesem Projekt nutzen wir KI-Tools als kreative Impulsgeber, aber nicht als alleinige Komponisten. Studierende generieren Melodien, Beats oder Harmonien mit KI, entwickeln diese weiter, arrangieren, verfremden und ergänzen sie mit eigenen Ideen und klassischen Produktionstechniken.

Wie lassen sich KI-generierte Elemente sinnvoll einbauen, ohne die Kontrolle zu verlieren? Wo endet die Maschine, wo beginnt die eigene Handschrift?

Das Projekt ist offen für alle Musikstile. Technische Vorkenntnisse sind hilfreich, aber nicht zwingend nötig – entscheidend ist die Bereitschaft, aktiv mit Sounds zu arbeiten und neue Tools auszuprobieren.

Am Ende entstehen eigene Tracks, die zeigen, wie KI die Musikproduktion verändert und wo ihre kreativen Grenzen liegen.
