EVERYTHING NEEDS ITS OWN SPACE, SO DO OUR EMOTIONS
The Emotion Space is a working group that promotes respectful interaction. We are actively committed to ensuring that ALL students can study free from discrimination and support fellow students with mental health challenges.
The working group was initiated by 3 female students who have undergone training as »emotional first aiders«, one of whom (Alina) will continue to lead the working group. It is planned that 2-3 students from the working group will complete this training again in the current semester.
Mariam and Elena, who will no longer be an active part of the working group, will remain contact persons for emotional first aid.
In addition to individual support, we will be organizing several events this semester. For example, an anti-discrimination workshop is on the agenda, which follows the KISD-typical approach. The work will be active and hands-on.
Other monthly events, both internal and external, offer the opportunity to come together, liven up KISD and talk about issues, express them creatively and contribute ideas.
The most important thing about this working group is that it is adapted to our needs and grows with the people who participate, nothing is fixed, you shape the Emotion Space together with us.
If you want to be part of it, write us a short motivation text, who you are and above all why you want to be there at lucylhowe@gmail.com and ab.bertacca@gmail.com !
