Empower XR: Prototypenentwicklung zur Begeisterung von Mädchen* und jungen Frauen* für Augmented und Virtual Reality (XR) | Empower XR: Prototyping to inspire girls* and young women* for Augmented and Virtual Reality (XR)

In this compact two-week project we will develop prototypes to inspire girls* and young women* for jobs in the field of Augmented and Virtual Reality (XR). We will work independently on our ideas in small groups and support each other in weekly meetings (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday).

This short project is part of the practice-oriented research project “Empower XR”, which aims to develop participatory measures to inspire girls* and young women* for XR. The overall project runs from December 2023 to June 2024, and in this short project we focus on prototype development. We will build on insights from two previous co-creation workshops with the target group and a panel of experts, which will provide insights and initial concept ideas for our two-week project. These insights will also determine whether the prototypes will be analogue or digital versions.

At the beginning of March, in the 9th calendar week, a half-day workshop will take place at KISD, where the prototypes will be tested and evaluated together with experts and the target group. Participation in this workshop is optional.
