Films & Fascinations

The Films & Fascinations Seminar consists of two storylines. In one, we are going to watch a selection of films together, analyse, study, and discuss them. Within the other part, you are going to develop and design Fascination Books – these are books about your fascinations. Better: a particular fascination you have.

What fascinates you? How can you unravel this fascination? What’s the essence of it? How can you share and exchange it with others? Isn’t fascination a key ingredient for every creative process and investigation?

Das Films and Fascinations Seminar besteht aus zwei Handlungssträngen.

Im einen werden wir gemeinsam eine Auswahl von Filmen anschauen, sie analysieren, untersuchen und diskutieren. Im anderen Teil werdet ihr sogenannte Fascination Books entwickeln und gestalten – das sind Bücher über eure Faszinationen. Genauer gesagt: über eine ganz bestimmte Faszination, die ihr habt.

Was fasziniert dich? Wie kannst du diese Faszination entschlüsseln? Was ist ihr Kern? Wie kannst du sie mit anderen teilen und darüber in Austausch treten? Ist Faszination nicht zentrales Element jedes kreativen Prozesses und jeder Untersuchung?
