Research AG: rrrreflect | Forschungs-AG: rrrreflect

Since 2023, KISD is publishing “rrrreflect. Journal of Integrated Design Research” – an online journal for outstanding works of student and faculty design research. The research AG will accompany the further development of this journal in terms of content and logistics. This includes addressing the fundamental question of how the results of design research in all its facets can be published appropriately, in a format that allows for a variety of media forms and does justice to the heterogeneity and diversity of design research. Open access publication processes, the support of authors, the logistics of the proofreading and publication process and the selection and review of the contributions will be considered as well. In summer 2025, we will focus on the review and production of the upcoming articles as well as promoting the next call for submissions of student work.

Seit Winter 2023 erscheint an der KISD „rrrreflect. Journal of Integrated Design Research“ – als Online-Zeitschrift für herausragende Arbeiten studentischer Designforschung. Die Forschungs-AG begleitet die inhaltliche und logistische Weiterentwicklung dieser Zeitschrift. Dazu gehört die Auseinandersetzung mit der grundsätzlichen Frage, wie sich die Ergebnisse von Designforschung in all ihren Facetten angemessen publizieren lassen, in einem Format, das vielfältige mediale Formen zulässt und der Heterogenität und Diversität von Designforschung gerecht wird. Aber auch Open-Access-Publikationsprozesse, die Begleitung der Autor*innen, die Logistik des Korrektorats- und Publikationsprozesses sowie Auswahl und Review der Beiträge sollen betrachtet werden. Im Sommer 2025 stehen Review und Produktion der kommenden Artikel im Vordergrund sowie Werbung für den nächsten Aufruf zur Einreichung von Beiträgen.
