My energy transition – exhibition design and living lab
Welcome to the mid-term project “My Energy Transition – Exhibition Design and Living Lab” as part of the research project ‘MEnergie – Meine Energiewende’! In this mid-term project, the focus is on the conception and realisation of an exhibition. Your task is to analyse existing communication formats to promote the energy transition and, based on this, to design a tailor-made exhibition that effectively conveys its messages and objectives. This gives you the opportunity to make an active contribution to the energy transition. Your exhibition should not only fulfil the purpose of presentation, but also function as a “living lab”, i.e. it serves as a real research environment in which innovations can be developed, tested and validated under realistic conditions. In this context, visitors are actively involved in the development process to ensure that the solutions presented or the exhibition itself meet actual needs and requirements. In this project, you will not only expand your exhibition design skills but also learn a new research method.
For those of you who have already taken the ‘Reimagining the energy transition – a delphi study with design sprints’ course in winter semester 23, there is an additional opportunity to rethink or revise your concepts and then put them into practice in the exhibition.
