Service Design | Service Design Event

In this project, we will collaboratively conceive and deliver the Service Design Event taking place on June 12 at KISD. The one-day event marks three decades of Service Design at KISD and serves as a platform to celebrate the discipline’s evolution, reflect on its current practice, and explore future directions together with students, alumni, and invited guests.

Working in teams, you will assume key roles in the event’s conception and execution. Responsibilities include developing external communications, designing the dramaturgy and atmosphere, coordinating catering, supporting speakers and guests, and preparing the spaces. The objective is to create a professional and inspiring framework that enables exchange, strengthens networks, and brings the Service Design community at KISD together.

We are seeking motivated KISDies who are eager to actively shape the event, take ownership, contribute their ideas, and help make three decades of Service Design at KISD visible and memorable.

Participation in the setup (June 11), the event day (June 12), and the teardown (June 13) is mandatory.

In diesem Projekt konzipieren und realisieren wir gemeinsam das Service Design Event, das am 12. Juni an der KISD stattfindet. Die eintägige Veranstaltung markiert drei Jahrzehnte Service Design an der KISD – ein Anlass, um gemeinsam mit Studierenden, Alumni und eingeladenen Gästen die Entwicklung des Fachgebiets zu würdigen, die Gegenwart zu reflektieren und Perspektiven für die Zukunft zu eröffnen.

In Teams übernehmt ihr zentrale Aufgaben der Eventorganisation: Ihr entwickelt die externe Kommunikation, gestaltet Dramaturgie und Atmosphäre, koordiniert Verpflegung und Gästebetreuung und bereitet die Räumlichkeiten vor. Ziel ist es, einen professionellen und zugleich einladenden Rahmen zu schaffen, der Austausch ermöglicht, Netzwerke stärkt und die Service-Design-Community an der KISD zusammenbringt.

Gesucht werden engagierte KISDies, die das Event aktiv mitgestalten, Verantwortung übernehmen und eigene Ideen einbringen möchten, um Service Design an der KISD sichtbar und erlebbar zu feiern.

Die Teilnahme am Aufbau (11. Juni), am Veranstaltungstag (12. Juni) sowie am Abbau (13. Juni) ist verbindlich.
