TouchDesigner is used for the creation of interactive media systems, live music visualisations, architectural projections, video mappings, laser installations or simply for rapid prototyping creativity. This foundation course will provide insights into the TouchDesigner development environment and will teach basics related to visual music, multimedia interconnectivity and visual programming.
During the two weeks, students will learn how to use different operators and basic concepts of node-based programming. We will pay special attention to linked analogue-digital hardware interfaces and interconnect electronic landscapes in the MXL.
Full attendance and active participation is required. Comprehensive documentation in the form of a usable tutorial (video & pdf.manual) for the MXL is part of the proof of performance and the follow-up work.
