Sensiplan is the natural, scientifically proven method of contraception and pregnancy planning. The method, which is just as reliable as the pill, teaches couples about their bodies and menstrual cycles, enabling them to make their own decisions and take control of female fertility.
The team behind Sensiplan has set itself the goal of making the method more accessible to men and other interested parties.
This medium-term project is a collaboration with Malteser Werken, which has been developing, researching and promoting the Sensiplan method for over 40 years. The aim of the project is to work with and for men and other interested parties to find out how they can be targeted more effectively and encouraged to use natural contraception.
Through research and prototyping, we will develop concepts and tangible design proposals. These may include objects, rituals, interactive environments or installations that reflect and strengthen body awareness and well-being, thereby supporting contraception in a natural way.
The project is supported and accompanied by Katharina Seeger, alumna of KISD.
