We & The Machines

This midterm Project is about Us & The Machines. We will explore various possibilities of production at KISD. Experiments and investigations will lead to designs, driven by a certain production technology you find most promising, inspiring, or exciting. In the weekly meetings we will approach design from a hands-on way of researching and studying.  We will search for unconventional applications and new contexts of use. Throughout the process we will research material properties and gain knowledge within a certain expertise. Again, sharing this knowledge with the group will lead to an overview of multiple possibilities at KISD (or in a close radius around), as well as general possibilities of production and their interdepended relation with design.

In case the production and exploration of material as well as the realization of the final result of your project require financial investments in material, this is most likely not covered by KISD.
